Grande du Maryland Chef de Gare Donald Fellows 2003-2004 (right) enjoys fellowship with
Voyageurs (from left) Manny Quinones and Mason Wilburn during VL 155 Promenade at Kumps Dam, near Emmitsburg, MD. Chef Don was presented his appointment as a member of La Societe de Regiment Coeurs (Heart
Regiment) by outgoing VL 155 Chef de Gare Norman Covert. The appointment was given in recognition of selfless service
on behalf of La Societe despite opening his heart for all to see, especially the surgeons, showing strength, faith in his
God, courage and leadership in a time of great personal peril. In April, Chef Don joined the list of Voyageurs who have undergone open heart surgery during
their service to La Societe which includes V. Wilburn and Chef de Gare (Passe) Norm.
